Already leaking I ordered this pitcher as a replacement for my old one that started leaking. After only a couple months of use this pitcher is now leaking at the bottom as well. I make one smoothie every day with a few frozen berries in it. You would think it would be made to withstand minimal use without leakage for more than a month or two…?

Lasts As Well As Can Be Expected for Plastic While I can’t say that I’m completely happy with the fact that our blender does not have a compatible glass pitcher, we have had it for nine years and have only had to replace the pitcher once, so far. We purchased this replacement pitcher about a year and a half ago and have not had any issues, yet. Will Not Tolerate Daily Use I would not waste your money on a Kitchenaid blender. There is a plastic gear at the bottom of the pitcher that will not tolerate daily use. Also the pitchers are prone to cracking. Our original pitcher cracked so we replaced it with one of these. The replacement then had the plastic gear that interfaces with the blender break off. I have not been impressed with the quality of these products and I will be purchasing a Vitamix 5200 now.
