Looks nice, but average quality components The visual design is a nice nickel colored plating. The brackets for attachment are not as pictured in the video. Instead of the traditional metal type brackets that brace against the holder and tighten with an allen wrench, these have a plastic bracket that attaches to the wall with anchors. The metal fixture then snaps onto the plastic bracket. In order to remove from the wall, the plastic tabs on the underside of the holder must be depressed. This seems to be an inferior design because…

Sleek, modern and solid piece, great price — just be gentle when changing rolls. Moen produtcs are always great – look sleek, hold up, well made and easy to install/use. This is no exception and at only $14 it’s a steal too. The only issue we have had is that now and then if you pull a bit too hard when changing the roll the whole piece snaps out of the base – I’ve managed to avoid it by being extra gentle but it’s happened a few times. This could probably be fixed by using a bit of a stronger “snap” mechanism – you don’t really ever need to remove it until you’re…

Don’t Feel Bad If You Have Trouble in Drywall… The Method bars, hooks, and TP holders are all very handsome and their one-clip-fits-all design is clever, but I almost got in big trouble five or six times while mounting these things with drywall anchors. I tried 3 different types of beefy “pro” drywall anchors and the problem was never the anchor itself: It was the amount of pressure it took to engage the detent at the bottom of the Moen Method plastic mounting clips. You have to shove the metal bar-end REALLY hard onto the mounting clip…
